You’re starting to plan a trip or a vacation and the first thing you do is reach out for your internet attached device, you start researching the locations that you want to go to and before you know it hours have gone by as you’ve dug deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole of researching on the internet. Before you know it you’re watching Charlie biting his bigger brother or some dumb cat riding the Roomba as it cleans the floor because researching vacation locations is hard and overwhelming. So, you Retreat to veg out on Tick Tock and YouTube videos.
Hello my name is Paul Stryer CEO and co-founder of XploreGEO and we take all the boring and painstaking research out of finding locations to go visit while you’re on vacation, on a business trip, or on a day trip and we’ve packaged them into a quest for you to seek
XploreGEO is a game not unlike a scavenger hunt where we send you on quests to visit amazing locations in the area you want to visit or be visiting on business. Once you find the location you will check in with the XploreGEO app and gather points and badges after checking into that location. There will be challenges, puzzles and questions to answer to help you explore the area and gain bonus points.
Now that you know what a game of XploreGEO is, let me explain what a marker is within the XploreGEO game. If you’ve ever searched for a location in Google Maps on your phone and then click the directions button to drive there then you have seen a marker or something called a location marker. It’s kind of like the X that marks the spot on the treasure map when you’re hunting for treasure. When you find a location in Google Maps there’s going to be a little red icon that is the location marker.
In XploreGEO a marker is in our case the location itself and it’s that simple.
So if you and I were out adventure questing and I said something like did you find the marker that would be the same thing as saying did you find the location.
I’m looking forward to launching XploreGEO in early 2023 because at that time I’m heading out on the road to play XploeGEO to find as many markers as I can, finish quests, and I hope to run into many of you Xplorers at the marketers so we can play XploreGEO together.
