When you log in to XploreGEO for the first time, the in-app tutorial will automatically start to help you get familiar with how everything works.
Please take a few minutes to complete the tutorial quest — it’s worth it!
- The tutorial quest only takes about 10 minutes.
- It will save you time and frustration when playing real quests — no guessing!
- You'll learn how to check in at markers, complete challenges, and earn points.

Accessing the Quest
- Open your device's camera, or QR scan app.
- Scan or tap the Quest QR code to access the quest.
- This will open XploreGEO to the quest.

Joining The Quest
- Read the quest description.
- Scroll down and read through the list of markers to learn more about stops you will explore while on this quest..
- Click the green JOIN button to join the quest and begin your journey.

- How to Participate: To access the contest, players must download, install, and register in the XploreGEO app. Join the designated quest and play the game by checking in and completing challenges during the contest period.
- Contest Period: The contest runs from January 27th to Midnight EST on February 3, 2025.
- Active Player Definition: An active player is defined as someone who has actively participated in the quest by checking in at least three unique locations in the quest between Jan 27 and Feb 3, 2025.
- Prize Eligibility: The prize will be awarded to the player ranked #1 on the leaderboard as of Midnight EST, Feb 3, 2025, if the minimum participation requirement (20 players) and minimum check-in requirement (3 locations) are met.
Contest Rules Continued:
- Minimum Participation Requirement: The reward will only be awarded if there are at least 20 active players who meet the criteria of checking in at three locations in the quest.
- Tie-Breaker Rule: In the event of a tie, the player that checked in to the first three locations the fastest during the contest period will win.
- Valid Check-Ins: All check-ins must be legitimate, adhere to local rules and regulations, and occur within the specified ports of call (Miami, Nassau, or CocoCay), and within the contest period.
- Eligibility: Participants must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to participate and claim the prize.
- Prize Restrictions: The $100 Amazon Gift Card is non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and will be rewarded via email. A valid email address must be provided during registration in the XploreGEO app.
- Code of Conduct: Participants must follow all rules and regulations of the locations they visit during the XploreGEO quest. Trespassing, violating laws, or breaking rules to check in at any marker is strictly prohibited. Players are expected to respect local customs, property, and their fellow travelers and Xplorers.
- Liability Disclaimer: XploreGEO is not responsible or liable for any damages, incidents, or legal issues that may occur while using the app. Additionally, XploreGEO is not affiliated with or responsible for any cruise line’s itinerary, operations, or issues that may arise during your cruise.
- Internet Requirements: XploreGEO requires internet access to play. Players are responsible for securing and paying for their own internet services. While most free Wi-Fi services are sufficient to use the app, performance is not guaranteed.
- Quest Continuation: The quest will remain active even after the contest ends on February 3, 2025, so you can continue to play the game and use XploreGEO as your port-of-call tour guide for future adventures.
