In XploreGEO, a marker is a specific real-world location that players must visit to check-in using the app, earning points and coins and unlocking potential challenges.
Adventure Questing in XploreGEO refers to the exhilarating experience of engaging with the game by embarking on quests to discover unique locations, known as markers, which can lead to saying:

Yes, XploreGEO is designed to be played through a dedicated mobile app that seamlessly blends virtual gaming with real-world exploration. The development of the app began in October 2022, and we are on track to initiate alpha and beta testing in early 2024. The official launch of the XploreGEO app is targeted for early 2024, which will enable adventurers to embark on their quests by interacting with both their physical surroundings and the virtual world through their smartphones.
While both XploreGEO and Geocaching involve traveling to real-world locations, they offer distinct experiences tailored to different types of adventurers.

Seriously, as a company we will be focusing on America to begin with and branch out to other countries as the business grows. With that said as players you will be able to create your own quests in the game and post them to the market place for everyone to play, so there is nothing stopping you from making and playing quests anywhere on planet earth.
There is one caveat and that is in the first few versions of the game there will not be any off-line play, meaning you will need to be connected to the internet to play. In future version of the app we have plans to allow for off line play, and all data will sync to the cloud once you return to the internet.
